We came up with a concept of organizing football fives events on a regular basis. 

toss corporate 5s is an initiative towards that. Will be doing more events for all categories of players in future.

The main aim of the event is to promote football among the wider public audience and also to promote a healthy lifestyle among the corporate employees. The company plans to organize various football events in the upcoming months.

The tournament will provide fun and excitement for the participants apart from cash prizes and exciting gifts and awards. Matches will be played in the group and knockout. Each corporate can field a maximum of two teams.

Cognizant triumphs @ Chennai Corporate Spikes

We at "toss" had a busy week working on the teams coordination, sponsorship coordination and logistics.

But we had really a good and interesting time right from the beginning when we started to work on this project.

Though we had several pitfalls during the course of the working for this event, we made it good on the final day.

Thanks for the support of the well wishers, volunteers, sponsors, media and the participating teams who made it happen.

The inaugural edition of the Chennai Corporate Spikes is gonna kick start tomorrow. The event will be happening for two days. Around 16 teams are gonna participate in this event and battle against each other for the title.

Chennai, Feb.6: Toss Sports Management, a Chennai based sports marketing and event management company announces the 1st Edition of “Chennai Corporate Spikes”, an inter-corporate men’s volleyball event to be held at 18 and 19th February 2012.

The company invites corporate teams from Chennai to participate in this two-day men’s volleyball event.

Group matches will be played in the league format and all matches from the quarterfinals onwards will be knockouts under floodlights. Each corporate can field a maximum of two teams.

The tournament also features an award for 'Most Disciplined Team', in an effort to promote sporting spirit amongst the participants.

Toss Sports Management organises Chennai Corporate Spikes

Toss Sports Management will be organising Chennai Corporate Spikes, an inter-corporate volleyball championship for men at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium, Egmore, Chennai on Feb. 18 and 19. This is the first edition of the property, which will now be an annual tournament.

Commenting on the initiative, Rajalingam. M., Director, Toss Sports Management said: "Being a sports management company, it is obvious that we look forward to expanding ourselves more than providing marketing and branding solutions and executing events. The objective behind organising this event is to develop a sports property in Chennai which can get some recreation amongst the corporates. Engaging corporates would help us get sponsors who associate with the property from the grassroots level and would grow with the property."

This is a two-day tournament which will engage 16 teams. The event is being promoted through social media, PR and promotions at coffee outlets. Toss Sports Management claims that it aims to expand in future, engaging schools, colleges and clubs. The sponsors will be declared on Feb. 1 and will get an opportunity to interact with brands which will benefit their company. An integrated marketing plan will be developed to promote their company, apart from receiving on-ground visibility.

Rajalingam further added: "Normally, tournaments go on for five to six weeks at a stretch, but we have made this a two-day tournament as the corporates can enjoy the weekend and go back to work, instead of waiting for another five days."
